Having trouble viewing the NACD U site?

NACD U is fully compatible with the following browsers: Firefox, Safari, and Chrome. You may experience functionality issues if you are using another browser, such as Internet Explorer 11.


How do I access NACD U?

1. Go to www.nacd.com:

2. On the main menu bar, click Education & Meetings

3. From the drop down menu, click NACD U

4.. In the middle of the next page, click "Enroll Now" You will be asked to login

5..Choose a course in the Catalog!


Why is my member discount not reflected?

You must be logged in through the NACD website for the discount to be reflected on your course listing. Please go to question #2 above for inquires involving users of member companies without a username and password.


My organization is a member of NACD, but I do not have a username and password. How can I still receive the 10% discount?

If your company is a member of NACD and you do not have a username and password, click here to fill out the member profile. Once your profile has been created, you will receive an email confirming your member access.  Your courses will then reflect the member discount.

an non-members access NACD U?

Yes. Click here to fill out a guest user profile to create a username and password. Once you complete your profile, click here to log in with your username and password.


How do I access my transcript/grades?

On NACD U dashboard, click My Transcript in the blue menu bar.
Click the Grades tab to view your enrolled courses that are either In progress(Incomplete) or Complete.
Click the PDF icon above the blue header bar to download your transcript.


How long do I have to access courses I have purchased?

Purchased courses are available to the user for one year after purchase date.


Can I download a certificate of completion for each course?

Yes (only for completed courses). To download a certificate of completion, please follow the steps below:

1. On the NACD U dashboard, click My Transcript on the blue menu bar

2. Click the My Grades tab

3. Under the course name, click View Certificate(This will generate a PDF of your certificate that are you welcomed to print)



Why are my recommended courses blank?

The recommended course widget will populate itself once the user has taken a course.


What does “credit hour” stand for?

The term credit hour stands for the average amount of time it takes to complete a course. For example, 1 credit hour = 1 hour/0.5 credit hour = ½ hour.



Can I download course content?

Currently, users do not have the ability to download the course content. Please check back frequently, as this feature may become available in the near future.



If I exit a course in progress, will I have to start over from the beginning when I log back in?

No. If you exit a course it will automatically bookmark the last section where you left off.


Can I enroll my employees in courses and track their progress?

Currently we do not have the ability to create institutional administrators. Please let us know if this is something that interests your company, as we may be able to add this function in the future.
